Let's Play Pokemon Red Part 2

Okay, so as I said before, we got a Charmander. Blue knows his Pokemon type match-ups, so he picked Squirtle.



And so begins the first battle of Pokemon Red. Red vs. Blue.



So, we claw at Squirtle until it falls into unconsciousness


Because we have a monster that could potentially do the same to him, Blue gives us an offering to make sure that the same does not happen to him.



Blue heads out to rest up so that he can train his Pokemon to become stronger. We will see the result of those efforts later. It will be fought and won with my weakest Pokemon.

This guy gives us a free Potion as a promotional item.

'Indeed I did.'

'Yes, he gave me a Pokemon.'


So Red went back to Pallet Town.
trainer. I'm giving you a Pokedex. Red!

'Okay'
Blue then proceeded to brag about how he'd get a Town Map from his sister and tell her not to give Red one.


Naturally, Red goes over and asks for one anyway.




Red then goes to catch and grind up some Pokemon. To simulate the process of grinding, just look at these two images over and over and over again.



I only did a little bit of grinding, I swear!
So Red heads out west of Viridian City because his rival senses are tingling.
