I'm not sure why I'm typing this here, but I just wish to state my opinion on the longer comics that the internet has to offer.
The internet has short comics, and the internet has long comics. It has the full archive of Peanuts, and some obscure sprite comic that the author gave up on after just a few strips. Personally, I love reading the long comics, within reason. I'll read a 1,000 page comic simply because I was interested (1/0. Took me 5 hours. Good stuff.) but I won't read the short stuff because the archive takes only a few minutes to read, and the author might give up soon. That's not the case with the longer stuff like MS Paint Adventures or Penny Arcade or xkcd. With comics like those, the archives take days or weeks to read, and the artist is dedicated to the craft.
So I now thank the people who are dedicated to the craft of webcomics, and do not give up on it. Thanks.
